Investigation of the need for youth workers' training in Vilnius

What training is really needed by Vilnius youth workers?

To answer this, we initiated a study aimed at finding out the needs of the youth of Vilnius city youth workers. The investigation was conducted by Nerijus Januškevičius in cooperation with youth workers from various centers, spaces and clubs.

During the investigation, we invited participants to create a "perfect youth worker" image - during this process, we researched what areas of strength and where there is still room to grow. Together we went into the most pressing problems of young people and we were looking for answers on how we can contribute to solving these problems by strengthening the competencies of our employees.

This study is important to us - it will help to purposefully shape the content of the training of the Vilnius Youth Policy Center for the coming year. This is a common step towards a more sustainable and stronger youth policy field in Vilnius
